What spectral range does PRO-PIX cover?
PRO-PIX is available in two spectral configurations: a VIS/NIR version covering 400 to 1000 nm, and a SWIR version covering 900 to 1700 nm, so it can be matched to the absorption bands relevant to your material or application.
Can PRO-PIX be used outdoors or in an industrial environment?
Yes. PRO-PIX is rated IP65 and operates across a 0 to 40 degrees Celsius temperature range, so it can be deployed directly in the field or on a production line rather than only in a controlled lab.
Is the PRO-PIX hardware reconfigurable?
Yes. PRO-PIX is designed to be hardware and software reconfigurable: its optical and acquisition components can be adapted to different working distances, spectral ranges and environments as your application evolves, instead of requiring a new camera for every use case.
What compression ratio does PRO-PIX achieve in real conditions?
In real field conditions, PRO-PIX achieves a compression ratio of 25 percent for professional scenes with no prior knowledge of the scene, and below 1 percent when a custom algorithm tailored to the application is used.
How is PRO-PIX controlled and integrated into an existing setup?
PRO-PIX can be operated through a graphical interface for standalone use, or integrated into a larger system through a Python SDK or ROS, connected over GigE, which makes it straightforward to combine with existing automation, robotics or data pipelines.
Can I start with ONE-PIX and move to PRO-PIX later?
Yes, this is a common path. ONE-PIX lets you develop and validate your acquisition and analysis methods on an affordable, open kit. Once your approach is proven, the same principles transfer directly to PRO-PIX, our industrial-grade sensor, without starting the methodology from scratch.
